Abandoned St Kitts & Nevis: Beach Shack, Charlestown
Who knows what you might find when you take a stroll along the beach… Set back from the sand, enveloped with trees and bushes, I stumbled across this small beach shack. It is probably the smallest and quickest “Urban Explore” I’ve ever done- but the ramshackle hut had a certain charm about it and was set against the backdrop of a beautiful beach.
My guess is as good as yours here, but it looks like it may have been some sort of small beach bar, crudely constructed of wood. Further back into the woodland, a small hut looks like it would have provided the toilet facilities for the tiny abandoned building. Back in the day it was probably a great spot to hang out and drink some rum punch, watching the waves gently crash up the shore just metres away.
